Usual 4am...

And so once again I seem to find myself awakened by unbearable sleeping conditions, and thus after finally having given up on a descent nights sleep I find myself confoundly distracted by by those dangerous things called thoughts, and the lovely little technological wonder, twitter. I also felt if i had the strenght to type i might aswell blog my latest set of Japan Images. They've been on flickr for a while so I'm sure some of you have seen them. But for the benefit of those not directly suscribed to my flickr stream here be the latest images for you all to enjoy!

Japan Pictures

So, after various requests for more Japan Pictures, and having had to delay the processing of them to pump the MCM pics out for downloading, but now I'm back, and with another deadline for the Japan pics! 18th of the month, since its the last day to submit images for the Japan trip competition done by the Mentor series :).

As part of the program I also get to put 15 of my images in a combined book, printed by MPIX, containing images from all of us! so here they are!

MCM Expo Pics!!! The beggining

Hey Guys! Alas I know Its taken me a week to get the pics up after the Expo, so! Due to popular demand here they are! Or at least the first half anywais lol. However my regulars will notice a slight change in the format, and that I've uploaded them on photobucket as oposed to flickr. This is to allow the option to download, as many of you know I generally disallow this in regards to my images, however, I'm making an exception with the cosplay pics as Im sure the people downloading them are the ones whose pictures they are of lol. Anywhoo Enough of my rambling! Info on the Expo on my next post!

Also in regards to video of the masquerade, its presently beeing edited (pending the return of my hard drive) and when its done can be found on the upcomming STFU & Get to 80 website!

Another Day in Japan

And so my next post is on one approaching the final days of my trip in Japan :(, which brings a sad, sad glimmer into my heart as I am inmensely enjoying it here, particularly taking in as much as possible of the culture and heritage. But alas a week is not enough time to spend in Tokyo, let alone half the country, but we've maxed out our days, chased Geiko in the rain, chased by hungry deer, (and probably blinded a few with some strobes), broken backs, shoulders and necks with top heavy camera gear, and just been annoying tourists, all in all an extremely worthwhile trip. As mentioned in the previous post I got a chance to visit the Tokyo Fish market and Tokyo tower of which I have managed to find time to process some images between bus naps and taking the wrong trains in between shoots, so here they are for you all to enjoy! :D

Prelude & Day 1 in Japan!!!

Hey Guys! Just finished my first day with the mentor seeries in Tokyo, and I gotta say PHEW! they certainly push us! I'm exhausted and need to be up in 4 hours to shoot the fish market so I'll make it brief.

Having arrived yesterday prior to the pack i took it upon myself to begin exploring the local area (Shinjuku) and start taking some pics, and upon the arrival of the gang, we had the introductions and I quickly hit the sack.

Today consisted of visiting a shinto temple, Tokyo Tower, The Imperial Palace and the Shinjuku gardens! More details on all those places tomorrow with pics! Today I'll just leave you guys with some warm up images of yesterday and today, with the best to come over the comming days as I process them ;). Enjoy!

Oh yes and I also got to play with Nikon Gear and a fisheye! :D
